Making 3D nets by Jarred

My 3D cube making experience

.By Jarred.

On Monday Mrs Walters came in and taught us about 3D and 2D shapes. The difference between a 3D shape and a 2D shape is that a 3D shape has width, depth, and length. But a 2D shape only has length and width but no depth. Then we found out that a 3D cube has: 6 faces, 8 vertices, and 12 edges. Then we had to choose a partner my partner was Jacob I choose Jacob because he stays on task. We had to use wine gums and Kebab skewers. After we finished making our 3D cube we had to estimate how long one Kebab Skewer would be. I guessed 20 cm then we had to measure it and it was 20 cm. Then we had to calculate how long all of them would be all together I calculated 240 cm. Then Jacob and I measured it and it was 240 cm. After we did that we were allowed to eat our wine gums they were delicious.
